Rockets and Mortars Fired into Israel; IAF Strikes 15 Terror Related Sites; Reservatists Called

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (Worthy News)– Israel struck fifteen terrorist related sites and injured at least ten Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as at least twenty rockets and at least seven mortars were fired into Israel yesterday.

Israel’s Air Force (IAF) carried out 15 precision strikes in the Gaza Strip that targeted “concealed rocket launchers, weapon storage facilities and terror activity sites.”

On Thursday morning, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officials said that Hamas was responsible for the continuing salvo of rockets and mortars striking Israeli towns in the South.

Riots were widespread throughout Jerusalem as tension continue to mount. On Monday, the bodies of three Israeli teenagers were found in the West Bank, supposedly leading to a ‘revenge’ killing of a Palestinian boy whose body was found brutally murdered in a Jerusalem forest on Wednesday morning. Police are continuing its investigation.

The IDF continued its search for two suspects, Amar Abu-Eisha, 33, and Marwan Kawasmeh, 29, and detained 13 Palestinians last night in the West Bank.

IDF reservists reported receiving phone calls from the army to update their personal details leading to speculation that Israel is preparing for a larger military operation in the Gaza Strip.
