I recall in my earlier days of writing the mantra of the left that the right would enforce their views upon society and that they would give us freedom, liberty, and choice. That was always the many kettles (not pots because they are bigger) calling so many pots black for the left always through out history be it facism, socialism, communism, on over to things like Hinduism, Buddhism, force *their* "choices" upon others.

Usually the choice is death or do it the way they want you to do it. They'll call it something else like "population control", "mercy killing", "euthanasia", "genetic profiling", but it is nothing any different than ancient south american's playing a game to put the sphere through the hoop to compete for the reward of having your head cut off for the "gods". Replace "state" with "gods" and you have the same thing.
