There is only One that pleased the Father and that One is Jesus Christ the one who is and was and is to come. President Obama has to set laws that will protect all people. The homosexual have to live too or should we kill all homosexuals? Does the homosexual have the right to work, or to eat There are born again believers that at one time participate in such an abominate acts, but by the grace of God they no long participate and are use in the kingdom of God to bring those out of darkness that are bound by this particular sin. When a so call Christian goes out and kill, or blow up an abortion clinic in the Name of Jesus Christ he is being deceived. That particular person is no better than the homosexual for Satan has influence him or her to conduct such an act. “Thou shall not kill”. What we have to do is pray more and God will do the rest. The weapons of our warfare is not carnal but might thru God/Holy Spirit, tearing down enemy strong holds in this country and homosexual behavior is not the only strong hold that we face in America. We need to ask the Holy Spirit to lead us in a more effective method that will combat this evil behavior, just like hate is an evil behavior. I do not recall Jesus teaching on homosexuality (correct me if I’m wrong) but I know that he dealt with sin and He is the answer for the sick sin soul. We must stop trying to give people 12 steps to this and 10 steps to that and 5 steps to this, but give them Jesus thru the Power of the Holy Ghost. Note: But before the church can give the Power of the Holy Ghost they must posses the Power of the Holy Ghost and not a particular religious ideology and political party. Where is the power to heal the homosexual, the thief, the crooked pastor, the crooked businessman, the crooked believer? For many shall say in the last days; God I did this and I healed the sick and I preached to thousand and I conducted the prayer team and I was a missionary and He will say depart from me workers of iniquity, wickedness injustice, unfairness, I know you not. Let’s pray that God will rain down his power on the church and empower us to go out into the highways of life; in the Powerful Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, not in the power of man, religion, not in the power of a group, or a race of people, or political affiliation, but in the Name that’s above all other names. Not the other way around. While city and business leaders in the US think in terms of keeping up (competing) with the nearest big city, the United States of America has been trying to "keep up" with the nations of the world. The fact is, the best nation is still so far from ideal it's heartbreaking. The USA held onto the myth that "we're Number 1" far too long. North American just mindlessly followed the UK's solutions to so many things. Right after WWII, in 1959, the UK passed laws in an effort to treat (mostly their own veterans who were violent and returning home) that says all sorts of what they'd determined to be mental illnesses could be treated with Psychotherapy. Too bad they didn't see if it actually works first. And so the USA just blindly followed. Only the USA doesn't even have a national health system to pay for it all. And the only part of it that works in luei of due process of law is when making the violent maintain on drug therapy. And that only works if there is a drug that works on that particular person, and the prescriber figures it out in time. That actually happens far less than advertised. And still, someone has to pay for it all. But thost are still just chemical lobotomies, at best. Then, the US imported the UK's domestic violence policies, and their system of using safe houses, and of forcing wives to just run away and testify to "solve" 90% of the problems via Civil Court systems. Too bad if she deserved a rescue. Too bad if documents exist all over the place that could be used to "testify" in criminal court instead. Nope, they had to destroy traditional marriage. And so they did. And the USA mindlessly followed. We do allow wives to be forced to testify against their husband now in the USA. But only in some Criminal Court proceedings. Meanwhile, ignoring all the just plain extorting that is done to force wives (and all the other kinds of domestic partners too) to kick their partners out. The UK's Queen decided to elevate homosexuals to Knighthood's. And now we're following that too. England has a lot of good practices. And a lot of bad ones. We can not lead if we are following. The USA is great it is by taking care of itself. It did not take care of the institution of marriage. IT did not defend and protect the rights of it's own people. Republican wives, I might add. It is in England, which has no rules against combining Church and State, that Day's of Prayer are most ignored. Their Queen is not powerless. She still has the power to dissolve Parliment-did you know that? She still has tremendous power to influence there and abroad. Why the USA just follows her lead, and the lead of policies that have only taken England down a horrible road, I can not fathom. But the road to perdition is wide. And the only Cornerstone for marriage exists spiritually now. All the "Christian's" that believe a wife can divorce her husband, find another, and then another, and it's not the worst, and most pagan, kind of plural marriages lie to themselves. Trust in God. Because the USA doesn't, just like England. Even officially, the USA denies God exists. And then, they wonder why that God that "doesn't exist" is not blessing it? Yes their lives are covered in sin, but weren’t we all just as filthy before Jesus washed OUR sins away? As Christians we are called to hate the sin, but love the sinner. We need to be Christ’s hands and feet and reach out to these people so that they may know God’s love. To quote the Christian author Donald Miller, “The battle we are in is a battle against the principalities of darkness, not against people who are different from us. In war you shoot the enemy, not the hostage.”
