We live in Pakistan as good religious Christians. My father told me that he was stoned by Muslims when he was teen age because of his faith and the Muslims want him to convert to Islam. But he accepted every spiritual challenge of Muslims, and they never won from him. In the last they call my father "Baba" means Saint because he memorized many books of the Bible and G-d's power was working through him. When I was writing my B.Sc. final exams in Lahore, some how Muslim Student Organization found out that I have a Jewish root, and they tried their best to catch me, torture and kill me, but the G-d of my forefather is always on my side, they hunted me for two years from 1992-1994 but the Lord always helped me to escape from their traps. In 1994 the Lord helped me to escape from Pakistan. In year 2000 7-8 Muslims kidnap my youngest sister at 1 midnight at gun point from the house and raped her and early in the morning threw her back in front of our house and later she died. I understand the pain George is going through because I already experienced it. I told my some friends that I have Jewish roots but no one believed but looking for proves. I took my DNA test from DNA Family Tree, on the advice of my friends to know the truth of my claim. Now the result is showing that I'm an Ashkenazi, Levites and one rabbi who is a doctor send me an email from Texas who has the same result with me. Why I'm writing all these things to let others know that in Pakistan there are many Christians who have Jewish blood, much of the time they don't know their roots but some do. The Muslims know these things and that the reason they are not tolerating them. This is my prayer that some how may the G-d of Israel open the eyes of the countries who love the Jews, to help the suffering lost people of Israel in Pakistan, and bring them in their countries or help them to reach the Promise Land, instead of allowing the Muslims who are always terrorists to live in Christian countries. Jacob and Esau also were types of these two waring nations. This means that those descendants, as nations, will be at war with Israel, mostly out of jealousy. America, a Christian nation under God not so very long ago, was born initially out of the early church (Jewish and Gentile believers) and because of it's support for Israel, God has graciously blessed her. This war between the nations is really a war between those who are FOR Israel (and her supporters) and those who are AGAINST Israel (and her supporters) and it will not be resolved until the time that Israel's Messiah has determined. The God of Israel has kept His WORD and has always made sure that a remnant of Israel survived throughout all of history. He has used Her to demonstrate His power to protect Her as well as to judge Her and He will do so one last time, but not in the same way as ever before. At the same time, He will provide a place of protection for His people, most particularly during the last 3 & 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation, much like He provided for Noah and for the three Hebrew men who were thrown into the fire where they had a divine appointment with the LORD who protected them from it's harm. It's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God and all who are against what the God of the Universe is for, will find out just how terrible it will be. We must pray for those Muslim people who have ears to hear and eyes to see, that they will come to faith in the one and only true God for salvation. Here in America, we do not have to fear being in attendance at such a Presentation, even when it's about Jesus, the basis for our faith. We are still enjoying, for the most part, freedom of our faith choices but for how much longer? This Passion Presentation was attended by hundreds for five days straight with no charge to anyone. It was professionally done and spiritually moving. In fact, it was so good, I chose to see it twice and tried to get some other family members to attend, who are also Christians, but there was little interest and none decided to go. As I read this story, I realized how much we take our freedoms for granted. I sat there so thankful for the opportunity to attend such a huge undertaking in safety, when it's sole purpose was to glorify God and prick the hearts of the people. Yet, at the same time, wondering how long Christians will be allowed to coast down 123 easy street, Anytown, USA, without confrontation and/or persecution from public authorities. I know the article referenced, wasn't about Easter but rather about the freedoms of the Christian but I must take this one step further, in light of this particular day. This is the one and only day of the entire year that celebrates the most important event of a Christian's life both here and in eternity. I don't understand how so many believers can justify treating it no differently than any other day. This, of all days, should be one of remembrance and celebration over God's gracious gift of so great a salvation. Have we also left our first love? Have we slowly become lukewarm without noticing? My heart is heavy today, knowing that God's righteous discipline must begin first in the House of the Lord. If it saddens me, a sinner saved by His love and grace, how must it grieve the very heart and Spirit of our Lord God and Savior Yeshua/Jesus. The strengthening of the Church will come only through a shaking to fully awaken her and truly, it is time. Prepare your bride, oh Lord and come quickly. Small mud-brick house without electricity or running water, dirt/mud roads, and the Muslims always make a garbage dump at the entrance of these colonies. The Christians are continualyy threatened, and gangs of boys regularly come into the colonies to rape the girls and beat up the boys and cause general havoc, even torching the houses. Their "churches" dare not have the cross and is usually a inconspicous building. If found, it may be attacked. When I was there one church was attacked by a gang with AK-47s because Christians were singing hymms, some were killed. Nothing was done by the law. Gangs of boys who rape and pillage will not be prosectued, and in fact if the Christians go to the law they will be ignored and the cops will tell the gangs they were ratted on, which brings only more retribution upon the Christians. Yet these Christians are so inspiring and so strong in their faith that all it would take for them is to convert to Islam and their lives would improve so dramatically. But they stay faithful.
