I am always amazed at those who inject and invoke their holier-than-thou "Separation of church and state" caveat. These anti 1st Amendment crybabies need to be confronted and forced to cough up [answer] the specific question with substantiated specifics:

Mr. School Administrator: "You charge that this woman's personal reference to her God and her faith is a violation of the "separation of "church" and "state." Now, please tell me, which particular "church" is this young woman attempting to foist upon the state."

It's interesting that there does not appear to be any censorship when someone uses the name of Jesus to swear with and usually in such a mouth, it is voiced multiple times. So here is good being called evil and evil being called good. That sounds familiar.

Seems like there's a thread of that particular doctrine weaving its way throughout the laws and actions of our government, in the name of political correctness. Of course if something is right, it is correct and if something is wrong it is incorrect so there it is something being called correct when it is wrong, at least according to God's Word......are you confused yet?

I guess it's not all that surprising that the one and only name that has been given in heaven and on earth by which we can be saved, would be the object of such controversy. The devil has been working on that plan from the beginning of time. People don't even know why they hate His name so. I'm quite sure a Muslim could pray in the name of Allah or Mohammad in their own countries and our Jewish friends, in the name of Elohim or Adonai, but the power is truly in the name of Yeshua/ Jesus and Satan just can't stomach it. He still has his right of rule over this world and it's evident through such rules and regs in the schools and workplace. It's like the world itself is confirming to us that this name has something to be feared about it and to the unbeliever, it most certainly does.

Interesting that the two things the world hates, is the name of Jesus and those who commit to Him AND Israel and her appointed people. In other words, the two things that Almighty God loves, the world is trying to silence until it can destroy it all together and that which God hates, the world loves and embraces in the name of peace.

There is no peace that does not come from the Prince of Peace Himself.

We haven't lived in a "free" country since we allowed Madelain Murray to have prayer taken out of our schools. These things that are happening now are Biblical and Christians need to stand up and be counted. I wonder if all the Christan students were suddenly taken out of, or chose to leave the universities that ursurped their right to "free speech" in speaking of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the money suddenly disappeared, would it make a difference. I will pray for, as we are commanded to do, the people who are blind to the truth. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes when the time comes to stand face to face with Jesus and answer for our words and works while living on earth. God is still in control and we can count on that.

For years I have heard the same phrase over and over and over again...."The separation of church and state." There is no such phrase in the United States Constitution. It's simply not there. Anyone that is a politician in government or a head of a university should know this. Does anyone have any idea where the concept of the separation of church and state came from and do they have any clue what was actually meant by it?
The phrase originates in Thomas Jefferson's 1802 letter to the Baptist Association of Danbury, Connecticut. Jefferson was responding to the Danbury Baptists' complaints that Connecticut's law was oppressive to their religion (among other things, Connecticut's law allowed towns to levy taxes for the support of a religion designated by the majority of voters; since Connecticut was overwhelmingly Congregationalist, the law effectively forced Baptists throughout the state to support Congregational churches). The following is the actual phrase that Jefferson used...."I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law regarding an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church and State."

""Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

The first amendment says that there shall be no state run religion, period. It doesn't say that religion is to be kept out of government only that government is to be kept out of religion. What the university did to this young lady is atrocious. Not only are they following a so-called law that doesn't even exist (separation of church and state), they are also denying her her First Amendment right of freedom of speech. If anyone is to be censored, it should be this UCLA biology professor Dr. Pamela Hurley for denying Christina her Constitutional rights.

Praying!

They Truly Know Not Whom They Mock

"And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid."
"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."
"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."
"And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger."
"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,"
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
Luke 2:9-14

Yet They Have A Date To Keep

"For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."
"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."
Romans 14:11-12

With The KING OF KINGS

"These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast."
"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful."
Revelation 17:13-14

And Judgement

"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."
Mark 8:38

Or Grace

"The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand."
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
John 3;35-36
