My father was Zingaro gypsy from Kis Varda Hungary. In the USA we have the Christian Gypsy Church going now for 30 years. But, American gypsies have no idea about their roots and have no care for their ancestors who are being persecuted. It took mr many years to be able to admit I was gypsy and a born again believer who follows Christ. It was my gypsy aunt who taught me about the Lord. Yes, I live in the USA. It shows, don't it? I feel for these people. I really do. Worthy News gets out what's really going on. And so others actually do. When they say "Christians" they mean it. And if they mean it's Catholics, they say that. It's so sad so few are paying attention. What is even worse, there's really no place in this world that is a refuge anymore. I've seen just as bad as this happen right here in the USA. And it's getting worse. But it's still can't compare to some of these things like on the Roma (I have a friend who moved to minister to them in Budapest) and Jews being persecuted all over again in Europe. You'd think they would have learned wouldn't you? But it's a new generation again. It all comes down to the only thing that buys any of us real safety, deliverance, salvation, whatever you want to call it. And that is the blood of the Lamb that God hand picked out for Himself as perfect enough for Him. That blood voids all curses. And curses are not mythological. The Roma are being cursed. Just as the Jews were in Nazi Germany. Just as so many Christ followers are in the USA now too. In suffering these same things, surviving them (only because of God's will-not mine) and recovering from them, I've found there is one and only one thing powerful enough to break the bond between Satan's holds on any of us, and the fear of such things-and that is the blood of Jesus. It's not barbaric. What is barbaric is that we sacrifice unborn infants, or our old and infirm, or one ethnic group, or another. That's barbaric. No one needs a priest to pray the 2000 yr old shed blood of the Messiah over us. We have that Priest in heaven, right now, watching out over you, and me, and every single terrorized woman, little kid, and old man. That's really why he's called Savior. He never sleeps. We must. We have a God of miracles. One who can do what no human can, or would if s/he could. And the fact that anyone ever gets born-again proves right there that our God still does miracles in the here and now. In my opinion, everything else is a lesser miracle compared to us being made able to stand before the Throne of the Most High God and ask for help without getting fried just for thinking about it. "...ask, and ye shall receive..." Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. It's never failed me. It will serve this people. I am sorry I can not do more, really.
