“ Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. 3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" 5 "Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked. "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. 6 "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." (Acts 9: 1-6) It is my prayer the Eritrean government officials, the Iranian officials, the Budists, the pakistans, the Muslim countries, and communists who engage themselves to persecute Christians, Jesus would come to meet them on the road of their hopless state. I pray Jesus Christ to voice out and thunder the cedars of religion bondages, and communism. I blieve around the corner Jesus is coming. Although we pay the price on this earth, but our reward is so great. Those who are persecuted know very well that God's promises are Yes and Amen!!! Beloved let us not give up to pray for the Body of Christ that is going through under rampant persecution. By partricipating in Prayer we share the glory they share with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I wouldlove to encourage those who would read this to take our prayer guide for Eritrea. The Bible says; “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” (Mt 5:10-12) Blessings to you who advocate for the persecuted Christians, and those who pray for them.
