Israel responded to an Iranian protest over “dangerous” comments by Israeli officials, saying Wednesday it is “absurd” for a country whose president has repeatedly called for the Jewish state’s destruction to preach morality in international affairs.

Israel’s new U.N. ambassador, Gabriela Shalev, responded in a statement Wednesday saying that “it is absurd that Iran preaches morality to Israel.”

“Iran’s president repeatedly denies the Holocaust and calls _ again and again _ for the destruction of the state of Israel,” she said.

Shalev said Ahmadinejad leads a country “that develops nuclear capabilities endangering the entire world.”

“As such, Iran is under United Nations sanctions for its non-compliance with the international community,” she said. “Furthermore, Iran openly and actively supports and arms terrorist organizations.” - Source (NewsMax)

In an earlier blog, I discussed the fundamental problems when secular minded individuals try to make peace with Islamic fundamentalism which doesn’t have a concept of real peace.

I don’t look for controversy, the truth is controversial enough! While the world continues to ignore the facts of Islamic fundamentalism – the world ignores the spiritual war we’re battling. Until this is realized, we’ll never achieve peace in the Middle East.

On Friday, Ha’aretz published a fascinating interview with a son of a Hamas leader who became a Christian. He stated,

“You Jews should be aware: You will never, but never have peace with Hamas. Islam, as the ideology that guides them, will not allow them to achieve a peace agreement with the Jews. While the world believes peace can be achieved by trading land for peace – land will never change someone’s ideology! Until Islamic ideology is confronted – until the root of the problem is dealt with – only then will you find peace in the Middle East!
