Welcome to the Worthy News Blog

Sharon’s 2nd Stroke There’s ALWAYS a risk
Jan 06

Over the past few months, some of you have noticed that Worthy News has switched its preferred Israeli news source from the Jerusalem Post to Ynet News. Why?

Simply, Ynet News is the English version of Yedioth which is the leading newspaper in Israel. Its circulation in the hundreds of thousands whereas the Jerusalem Post is printed only in English and its circulation in Israel are approximately 50,000 papers a day.

Dont’ get me wrong, I think that the Jerusalem Post is a fine publication. I still read it on a daily basis and often link to their news articles. But I feel that Ynet will give a more accurate picture of what Israelis are thinking and saying.

Also for your information, Worthy News will now be linking to Ha’aretz less and less since it’s parent company is the same company that owns the New York Times which demonstratively presents a left-wing agenda. However, they do occasionally have exclusives which are worth reading and I may post some of those here and there.

Until next time!

George

Glad to hear you are leaving Haaretz, and Jpost. Ynet is a vast improvement. How about using Israel National News?
