Washington, DC -- Today, Rev. Louis P. Sheldon, Chairman of Traditional Values Coalition announced the publication of a special report on homosexual efforts to recruit children in our nation’s public schools.

"This report clearly describes the deceitful tactics used by homosexual activists to lure children into a deadly lifestyle," said Sheldon. "Every parent should read this report to find out how they can oppose this recruitment effort."

"Homosexuals Recruit Public School Children," has just been posted on TVC’s web site. In it, Rev. Sheldon quotes directly from homosexual activists who have laid out a strategy for seducing children into a life-long sexual disorder.

The special report exposes the homosexual strategy of using issues such as "safety," "tolerance," "homophobia," and "teen suicide," to establish pro-homosexual recruitment programs in K-12 schools.

It also details the role that homosexual teachers and school officials with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) are playing in setting up Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs on campuses. GSA’s are used to normalize homosexuality and to connect sexually confused children with older mentors, who are available to "initiate" youth into this sexual behavior.

"GSA’s encourage sexual confusion and the spread of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, including AIDS infection," notes Rev. Sheldon. "We must do everything that we can to protect our children from being seduced by homosexuals into a lifestyle that can have devastating consequences."

In the report, Rev. Sheldon quotes homosexual pedophile Gerald Hannon who tells his homosexual allies that activists must make the recruitment of children a primary objective for the next stage of the homosexual movement. According to Hannon, "To attract young people to the gay movement in large numbers should be the challenge to the next phase of the movement. It is a challenge we have set ourselves."

"While an AIDS epidemic is still claiming the lives of thousands of young men in this country," says Rev. Sheldon, "we should not be setting up junior high and high school clubs to encourage children to engage in sodomy. To do so is to encourage children to risk AIDS infection and certain death."
