David Haggith Bio
David Haggith is author of End-Time Prophecies of the Bible published in 1999 by Putnam and re-released in paperback by Perigee Books. The book was published outside the U.S. by HarperCollins in the U.K. under the new title Prophets of the Apocalypse where it became the #1 bestseller in religion books on Amazon.co.uk. End-Time Prophecies of the Bible is a complete collection of those biblical prophecies that are regarded as end-time prophecies. It organizes them to interpret each other, while acting as tour guide through interpretations that have significantly influenced history. It exposes how misguided interpretations helped snuff out the lights during history’s darker ages (such as the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition) and looks at how these prophecies are understood by some groups in the present, while suggesting some interpretations of its own. It lets readers think for themselves without pushing any one interpretation by bringing together a broad array of materials in a highly readable and organized format.
