21 Saudi students to be sent home following Pensacola shooting

(Worthy News) – The US is sending home 21 Saudi students after a shooting at Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida last month, Attorney General William Barr having concluded that the pilots-in-training acted on terroristic motivations.
In addition to an affinity for jihadist speech and a glorified view of 9/11, investigators uncovered a trail of child pornography in the internet histories of 15 of the students, though Barr said it would not be grounds to prosecute them in the US.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gave complete and total support for our counter-terrorism investigation, and ordered all Saudi trainees to fully cooperate,” Barr said. “This assistance was critical to helping the FBI determine whether anyone assisted the shooter in the attack.”
On Dec. 6 Mohammed Alshamrani, a 21-year-old trainee, opened fire on a classroom, killing three U.S. sailors and injuring eight others before being subdued by marines.
Saudi Arabia is the number 15 worst persecutor of Christians worldwide, according to Open Doors USA, and there are no official church buildings in the country, believers mostly finding fellowship online or not at all for fear of the “Hay’ah” or Sharia police.
