Worthy Christian News » Planned Parenthood: Having an abortion 'will not change God's relationship with you'

By Joseph DeCaro, Worthy News Correspondent

(Worthy News)– Religious leaders who support abortion on demand have written a pastoral letter to women who are thinking about ending their pregnancies to assure them of God's love regardless of the decisions they make, according to Christian Today.

The letter was penned by the Planned Parenthood Association of Utah Clergy Advisory Board; members of the board insist that abortion is morally permissible.

"We believe as religious persons that no one can make a choice for or against abortion except the woman herself. No one knows the circumstances of your life as well as you know them; no one knows what is in your heart better than you," the letter states without taking into consideration that God is not only loving, but omniscient as well.

"We believe as religious persons that the decision to have an abortion will not change God's relationship with you. We believe that God loves you, and that you can find strength, understanding and comfort in that love on days when you are in doubt or in distress."

The letter goes on to offer those who choose abortion free and confidential pastoral support.

Those who give this advice are not true believers, but are false teachers on their way to hell. Jesus never ever tells us to go ahead and sin because God loves us anyway. Contrary he ALWAYS commands men to turn from their sins in repentance. No exceptions.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20 ESV)

These "clergy" are in danger of mortal sin. May they come to know the God of Life, the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
