‘Islamic State’ Has New Fireworks, but Experts Say It’s a Dud (Video)


AL-RAQQAH, SYRIA (Worthy News)– The newly formed ‘Islamic State’ paraded scud missiles, tanks, and other armored vehicles around Al-Raqqah, Syria in a demonstration of its military power.

Charles Lister, a Syria expert at the Brookings Doha Center, told the Telegraph, the Scud is “99pc useless.”

Over the weekend, on the beginning of Ramadan, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) changed its name to the “Islamic State” and announced a new caliphate with its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as the caliph or the head of state.
