JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (Worthy News) – Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called on Muslims around the world to mobilize their troops alongside Iran against Israel and the United States to prepare for the coming of the "Mahdi" seen as "the savior of Islam".

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged all Islamic countries to unite in anticipation of al-Mahdi al-Montazar, Arabic for the “awaited one”, according to statements obtained by Worthy News Friday, August 28.

“We still have a long way to go in order to achieve this. We have to train honest forces that can stop the obstacles that may hinder the coming of the Mahdi like the United States and Israel,” said Ali Saeedi, a spokesman for the Iranian leader in statements distributed by Arabic media.

He described Iran's supreme leader as "a direct representative" of the Mahdi and said following his orders is like "obeying the guided one.”

ARMED FORCES

"Since the armed forces are commanded by the Supreme Leader, they are thus obeying the orders of the awaited Mahdi," Saeedi explained. He said Iran's Revolutionary Guards and armed forces "hold religious authority to prepare for the appearance of the Mahdi.”

The Mahdi is believed by Muslims to be arriving before Judgment Day to rid the world of injustice.

Is it possible that the last decade and a half of pre-trib pushing may have been seen by Christ’s enemies as a display of cowardice? They probably laugh at the notion that “Christ won’t permit anyone to suffer” as they martyr Christians abroad. We need to be willing to live and die for our Faith at anytime. Maybe if we had spent less time learning about the rapture(He will come when He comes) and more time on the Red Letters of the Gospel, we might not be in this mess. Lets pray that Western Christianity sees the reason for the decline of the evangelical church, and instead of judging will take responsibility and repent of misguided teachings. Nevertheless, God will awaken His sleeping people and bestow his Heavenly Courage upon us when it is time to do so. May we all stand when necessary.

    • Jane H. says:

Oh Amen to that! Our Lord Jesus said there would be much deceipt in these days and Western Christianity has bought into one of the biggest lies of the Devil and is not ready. Oh Church, be wise and get the oil for your jars along with the oil in your lamps!

      • Prophesstruth says:

I am so pleased to see brothers and sisters here that are awakened to the truth concerning the lie of the pre-trib rapture. I find it very interesting that the Islamic world is expecting their mahdi to come at this pivotal point in time. Likewise and interestingly enough, we saints who are awakened to the truth of the Word are seeing many of the birth pains that will lead up to the 2nd coming of King Jesus. This is ironic, but most certainly in His will that there is great expectancy among each major religion of this world, for their “saviors” coming drawing near in the same time period. Who could possibly bring Christianity and the Islamic faith together under one set of beliefs? Remember the deceiver comes not to deceive the deceived, but the elect and those who claim to believe in Jesus. Many of our brothers and sisters in Christ who believe in the pre-trib rapture need to be aware of the dangers of being un-prepared in the Truth of His Word. I wonder if there is any connection to this theory and the Word that is spoken to the church in 2 Thess 2:9-12???

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” ~NKJV~

Could this strong delusion that God sends be the mahdi but also seen to many as the return of Jesus?
It is always a possibility… therefore we are to be prepared to discern.
I pray for the saints, and also for those that need the eyes to see and the ears to hear.
~ Blessings to all in their Stand~

Someone mentioned “the lie of the pre-trib rapture”? Haha…That statement proves that you can make the Bible say anything you want, as long as it fits your agenda. We’ll see who was right on the way up, okay?

This is true as of November 5th 2009 , Fort Hood Texas Military Base was attacked 12 dead, 31 injured, By a muslim military officer, who was muslim from birth, The guy had been in the army before 9/11 , he just snaps , no way he never seen combat in middle-east. I was born again in 2001 at 26, a bio-chem major, frat boy, but when my heart was broken, The LORD loved me. I was fed HIS WORD thru the Calvary Chapel denom, I even attended their Bible college, I was amazed at how many people were into the “Left Behind” frenzy, I even read them, several things bother me about the book, but I was getting a lot of Pre trib propaganda, until a student said he questioned the teaching, I tried to defend it with Scripture, but he had read a lot, and applied context. I was very vulnerable as I walked away. I stayed away from examining it in depth for a few years…but I am thoroughly convinced that there is only a “great tribulation” and we will miss it, but that event is in the midst of “Daniel’s” 7 years. Before the sixth seal, in chapter 6, (after saints ask how long till GOD brings vengeance, and long after the horses & riders HE says HE will wait until the completion of the martyrs. So everything before os like what Job experience wrath from the god of this age, wrath allowed and even used, but not an expression of the GOD of perfect wrath.

Ill this to say, we will be tried and GOD will refine GOLD and works from Christ in us for HIS glory, and HE will receive precious prayers, and worshipful praise that HE alone is worthy of. If it were possible, that prince that is to come, could only deceive us like he will the Jews, if we see him. The Shiite “mahadi” seems to be a premise.

    • JLD says:

There are probably equal amounts of Christians on both sides of the Pre-Trib, Post-Trib rapture fence who believe “Christ won’t permit anyone to suffer”.
Whether real Christians are “willing to live and die for their faith at anytime” is not dependent on the belief in a Pre-Tribulation rapture.
Pre-Tribulation believing Christians are not lacking courage to “suffer” for Christ as some have speculated.
Nor do they have to worry about it at some future, frightful event that has not happened yet.
After all, the scriptures do say,
(Isaiah 26:3) “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.”

As far as “this mess” is concerned, this mess did not come about by the Pre-Trib or a Post-Trib rapture view.
This mess is going exactly according to God’s plan.

      • Pamela says:

JLD–I like the way you keep right on track with God’s Word and Character in your reply. I have spoken often to a dear preacher who believes in pre-trib. I don’t believe in pre-trib, but that is because God gave me a vision years ago whereby His peeps were being hunted/hated. I was one of them so I don’t know if it will be in the U.S. or if He’ll send me off somewhere else–but it was GLORIOUS! We met in houses, and God supplied us daily. There were no worries, and a very strong presense of the Spirit. So…it sounds strange for me to say that I want to be there with God. And I find the pre-trib weird because why would we want to practice all that tiime and not get to play in the “homecoming” game? That, I feel is a good earthly analogy! *smiles* However, He allows veils on His people’s eyes for His Purpose and unveils when He chooses, also for His Purpose. Many of the people I speak to who believe in pre-trib rapture admit that they might be wrong, so they say, “We hope for, but prepare for just in case.”

    {{{ The Mahdi is believed by Muslims to be arriving before Judgment Day to rid the world of injustice }}}

    The Judge Needs No Help
And He Laughs To See Such Folly

1 Why do the nations gather together? Why do their people devise useless plots?

2 Kings take their stands. Rulers make plans together against the LORD and against his Messiah by saying,

3 “Let’s break apart their chains and shake off their ropes.”

4 The one enthroned in heaven laughs. The Lord makes fun of them.

5 Then he speaks to them in his anger. In his burning anger he terrifies them by saying,

6 “I have installed my own king on Zion, my holy mountain.”

7 I will announce the LORD’s decree. He said to me: “You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.

8 Ask me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance and the ends of the earth as your own possession.

9 You will break them with an iron scepter. You will smash them to pieces like pottery.”

10 Now, you kings, act wisely. Be warned, you rulers of the earth!

11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, or he will become angry and you will die on your way because his anger will burst into flames. Blessed is everyone who takes refuge in him.

    Psalms 2 (GWT)

    Believe In Him

35 The Father loves his Son and has put everything in his power.

36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, he will see God’s constant anger.”

    John 3:35-36

    And Be Blessed Beloved

    Love, Joe

    • Anna says:

Thank you. This is truth and God will not be mocked and indeed He does laugh at the fools who think themselves to be wise. We do not know when He will call for His Son’s bride to be taken out. She has already been judged and found to be covered by His shed blood. There are no further judgments, other than for rewards, for her. She will not suffer for the same reason that the unrepentent will suffer; however, she should be willing to go through whatever may be appointed to her, if in doing so, others will come to the saving knowledge of the true Lord and Savior, Yeshua/Jesus. This is her mission as the Bride of Christ. She is, however, not appointed to wrath and will be delivered at some point and time that only the Father knows. She is to be about the Father’s business as she waits for His appearing and His call to her to come.

      • Lea says:

Absolutely! And, we are told numerous times to watch and be ready. And, “when you shall see these things, look up for your redemption draweth nigh”. It is hard to not be focused on the moral decay we see today; however, we know this is Biblical prophecy; we are prepared. We focus on Jesus, we continue our work here and we, who remain faithful, will see Him.

I am quite perplexed at those who believe the Church will not be raptured. Scriptures plainly back this up. Mid-trib and Post-trib believers actually get their “doctrine” of their view of this by taking scriptures and using them out-of-context. However, it is not my wish to demean any other Christian’s beliefs if they are on sound doctrine. We must comfort and support one another in these perilous times.

We must be ready and we must remain steadfast in our beliefs. There are many false prophets today, in our churches, who are misleading people. We should stay in the Word of God and therefore will not be led astray.

        Maranatha!

  • Micah says:

Well, there are some good principles in some of yur posts. No doubt, we should be prepared for ‘the beginning of sorrows’ But the Bible says we are not appointed to wrath, and it is JACOB’S Trouble NOT the Church’s trouble and I dont see the Church mentioned during the Tribulation, after the Laodicean CHurch Age is mentioned.

    • sandy says:

Micah, in Rev. chapter 22 verse 16 (it’s in red letters — Jesus speaking)
      It reads:
      16) I Jesus have sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, and etc.

What things? The whole book of Rev.
Who is He talking about? Testify Unto you these things in the churches.
No rapture teacher will mention this chapter, and verse, because it blows their theroy on the churches aren’t mention after the Laodicean church.
I guess they didn’t read the whole book of Rev.
They should also read verse 18, and 19. Sandy

    • Lea says:

The Church (the body of Christ) is not mentioned in Revelation after Chapter 4:1 until the end and then the parenthetical chapers which speak of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. After Revelation Chapter 4, Revelation deals with the nation of Israel. Revelation Chapter 7, 10,11,12,13,15 are all Parenthetical chapters and I believe many people get confused because these chapters “explain” or “clarify” or “set the stage” or “summarize” certain things God is telling us. Also, Revelation is NOT in order.

I do believe, however; that we should literally interpret the Book of Revelation, in conjunction with the Book of Daniel and only when we are told “as if” or “looked like” then we should determine that passage is not literal but is being compared to something else.

We must study with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. I have noticed over the last few years that Revelation has been easier to study, makes more sense and has deeper meaning for me. Other Christians I know who study the Bible deeply also have made these same comments.

God bless you all. We look forward to the return of Lord Jesus. Be prepared, be watchful and be in prayer for all unsaved souls.

  • Georgia M says:

Why do we always get into ridiculeing our Christian brother’s & sister’s that don’t believe in the end times the same way we do? Can’t we just agree that we need to be ready & encourage each to be watchful. Sometimes it sounds like those who don’t believe in the rapture make fun of those who do. Leave it alone, just get your own house in order. Love one another.

    • sandy says:

      Dear Georgia.

There are at least five different thoughts on the rapture. People have told me it doesn’t matter.
God only has one thought, not five. There is no rapture, and the problem with teaching there is, results in false teaching. God has plentiy to say about false teaching.
Just go to 2nd Thessalonians, and read chapter one, and two. Paul will tell you what is going to happen before our Lord appears. Don’t believe me, or any man, just read the scripture God has given us. Sandy

    • LeRoy says:

Georgia you are right on. We as Christians need more than ever to focus on what we have in common, namely the LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, rather than spend precious time debating and arguing about our own personal theology. We do better if we focused all this energy on telling those who don’t know our Lord about HIM. WE are called to go and make disciples not argue theology.

    • worraps says:

      Alas! Another common sense motivator!

  • WLW says:

I nearly choked on my soda when I read this headline! This, along with the natural gas in Israel, is making me really jumpy… In a great way! I recently got back on track with the Lord, and all this news I’m reading brings to my mind only one thing: The Rapture of Christ’s Church! I get the feeling that it’s very soon, since the Iranians and many other nations are readying for all-out war with God’s People. We have to step up our game and help as many as possible to get saved so they can join God’s Heavenly Host! I praise His Name for letting me be alive in such a pivotal time!

    • Kenny Pine says:

The idea that Christians should ” let not your hearts be troubled” because we will be raptured before tribulation is very myopic. Those words were spoken to men who would have their heads cut off and be crucified even upside down. The lack of fear comes not from lack of possibility of suffereing or death but from fearing Him who has the abaility to destroy the soul in eternal darkness. Pre, mid or post trib? One fact all Christians need to trust is that while Yahweh will permit His own to suffer and die He will not be pouring His wrath out on His children, otherwise why the cross? His wrath is for the sons of disobedience. So, I stand ready to suffer as many are doing today for His sake and even to die, but I am fully convinced His own will be raptured before the time of His fury on this Earth!

  • al Metcalf says:

The call for Muslim consolidation of jihad troops against Israel at this juncture is not surprizing, since Iran’s Ayatollahs believe the world must be thrust into chaos, and Israel must be anihilated before their Mahdi can appear. More than that though, they likely feel they are in a better position to carry out their plans, since the power of the West as lead by the USA has already succumbed to their threats by appearing to be unlikely to proceed with force against Iran, and the USA ’s strong support for Israel is placing Israel in a lose-lose situation. The Obama administration, the EU, and most other Western nations, are using blackmail against Israel by pressuring Israel into halting expansion of settlement and building activity in preparation for the formation of another Islamic terrorist state called Palestine carved out of the West Bank and Gaza, with its capital in Jerusalem, and somehow has managed to link this apparent necessity to whether talks with Iran will prevent the need for a pre-emptive strike against Iran. However, If Israel feels threatened enough, they have indicated they will carry out their own pre-emptive strike against Iran to take out the nuclear facilities. Either way, Israel is to be accused of preventing peace, and the excalation of tensions. either by Iran or the USA.

Obama is more interested in positive relations with Islamic states than he is in maintaining a strong relationship with Israel. As such he knowingly, or unknowingly has marginalized Israel. Iran has sensed this shift, and likely feels Israel is now more vulnerable.

The fact that the call by the supreme leader in Iran to prepare to mobilize against Israel is not simply a saber-rattling threat. It is an Islamic jihad based from within their escatological beliefs, and therefore must be carried out at some juncture, and Israel’s vulnurability at the moment plays into their plans. Notice, Iran has no intention of following their beliefs alone, but are calling upon all Muslim nations and groups to join with them, particularly against Israel, and eventually against the West.

Many Christians have interpreted the agreement of a seven year treaty indicated in the Book of Daniel as an agreement with Israel, allowing a seven-year peace. However, this treaty is not signed with Israel , but rather with “many.” In other words, there is a group of “many” that agree together regarding Israel, and this agreement is broken half-way through its time-period. We could be seeing the foundation being prepared for this agreement. The fact that it will be broken part way through fits with Islamic dogma also, since Mohammed broke his agreement with the Koresh tribe of Jews and carried out his own pogrom in the same manner. Whatever he did is to be emulated since he is their Prophet.

What the islamic world does not totally understand though is Prophecy according to biblical Scripture is going to be fulfilled regarding Israel, the West, and the entire world, and they appear to be playing right into the picture. Yes, it is time the Church woke-up! We are living in sobering times of Biblical fulfillment according to what God’s prophets have fortold!

Who is this Mahdi that some muslims use to militarily intimidate nations to further their
commercial religious interests??!! Most moslem leaders have discerned the fallacies & the
folly of their religion because psuedo christians have pointed out their errors to them
during the past 61 years. Islam claims the authenticity & holiness of the Chrustian Bible &
the factual existence of the patriarchs & their truthful teachings!!! Why do they pursue
their religion??!! For power & for money! One book that refutes islam’s claim of Godly
truths is Who Is This Allah? by G.J.O.Moshay available at http://www.chick.com. Whoever denies
Jesus as Messiah, the ONLY Savior, denies LIFE & can NOT receive eternal life. What cause
should Christians take? To educate the world of unbelievers of the truths of GOD’s one
true Gospel – His eternal Kingdom that will soon return to earth, Rev.19:19-21; & 20:1-6.
Islam claims to believe in these truths. So why are their armies fighting Jesus in vs.19?!!
Please hear & believe! There is NO second chance in the resurrection, Heb.9:27; Dan.12:1-2!

    Regarding rapture:
I love the way people presume to speak for God.
Can anyone name one person in scripture who got it all right beside Jesus?
And If God did want to rapture the saint out prior to the tribulation
The post tribers would probubly refuse to go…

This article is about the coming attack on Christians and Jews and what do the christians do???
    They attack each other.

  • Lee says:

I question those who are venomous about “the left behind series” or who attack other Christians who believe in the pre-trip rapture. Why? Because it does not matter! It does not matter when the rapture happens if you are walking with the Lord Jesus. Everything ends well for the true Christian. So don’t fall for the petty divisiveness that you see written here. seek out God and believe what you want on the minor points of the faith and love those who agree with you on the major points such as Jesus Christ is the living Son of God and He is God and He is God’s Word incarnate and no one comes to the Father except by Him… and you must be born again to see the Kingdom of Heaven….and all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God and without Jesus’ substitutionary death on the cross, we would all get what we really deserve.

  • GodLovesUs100 says:

Strange thing to note that the Christian AntiChrist is very similar in description with the Islamic Mahdi….the false prophet and “Muslim Jesus prophet” are corresponding as well.
This world is under a heap of trouble one way or another.
I believe things will get so bad and situations will be turned[by elite forces of course] against the true Israelis and the seed of the woman[true church/body of Christ]
This will of course lead to many wanting to get rid of God’s children and somehow people will be tricked into thinking that if they get rid up us, they can finally have that New Age Utopia they all dream of["world peace"] Anyway, Christ is right at the door…many need to repent soon.Pray for the world.God bless you all, God bless Israel, God keep us all under his wing.

Let’s watch and see what our LORD will do next, for he is in control and All Mighty!

  • lyn says:

Pride is what causes Christians to attack each other, ‘I’m right and you’re wrong, and I can prove it with Scripture’. Both camps can use scripture to back their view, but, in the end, what does it really matter?!? What happened to humility, overlooking an offense, and love? Let’s not divide and be mean-spirited over the ‘catching away’, Christ will come at the appointed time. Whatever your view is, it’s fair to say all will suffer for Christ, regardless of your view. That isn’t a reference to the end times only; if that were the case, our brothers and sisters who’ve gone on to be with the Lord certainly will not face end time madness.
We need to quit attacking one another; the bible says we are to be of one mind, one body, one faith, one baptism, one Lord…to tell someone their end time view is wrong is sinful, it is based on the sin of pride; we overlook the command for humility because we simply MUST prove the other to be wrong. Is it any wonder the world looks at us and mocks?
