(Worthy News) – President Donald Trump warned Hamas on Monday, demanding the release of all hostages in Gaza by noon Saturday. “If all of the hostages aren’t returned by Saturday at 12 o’clock — I think it’s an appropriate time — I would say cancel it and all bets are off and let hell break out,” Trump stated, threatening to cancel the ceasefire deal.

In a firm declaration, President Donald Trump emphasized the need for the complete and immediate return of all hostages held by Hamas, rejecting partial releases. He set a strict deadline of Saturday at noon, warning that failure to meet this deadline would lead to severe consequences. Trump starkly stated that after the deadline, “all hell is going to break out,” indicating readiness for significant escalation if the demands are not fully met.

“And if they’re not returned — all of them, not in drips and drabs, not two, and one, and three, and four and two. Saturday at 12 o’clock. And after that, I would say all hell is going to break out,” Trump said.

However, Hamas, designated as a terrorist organization, announced on Monday their decision to postpone the scheduled release of Israeli hostages indefinitely. This delay, they claim, is in response to alleged violations by Israel of the terms set in the ongoing hostage-ceasefire agreement.

“The release of the prisoners, originally set for next Saturday, February 15, 2025, will be postponed indefinitely pending the occupation’s compliance with and retroactive fulfillment of the past weeks’ obligations,” stated Hudhaifa Kahlout, spokesman for Hamas’s military wing, referring to the hostages taken from southern Israel on October 7, 2023. Of the 251 hostages originally taken, 73 remain in Gaza.

Following Hamas’s announcement to delay the hostage release, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened an urgent security cabinet meeting. Concurrently, the defense minister placed the military on high alert. This response comes amid uncertainty over the deal’s future, as Israel has not yet dispatched negotiators to Qatar to discuss the agreement’s second phase, missing the set deadline.
