Montagnards escaping persecution to be repatriated?

(Worthy News) – Last month, Cambodian authorities ordered the United Nations’ commissioner for refugees to repatriate any Vietnamese Montagnards who were escaping from religious and ethnic persecution.

According to Barnabas Aid, around 200 ethnic Montagnards who had crossed over into Cambodia will now be forced to return to Vietnam; almost 50 have been repatriated in recent months.

Montagnards have endured decades of persecution from Communist authorities because of their Christian faith and their former alliance with U.S. forces during the Vietnam War.
