George Whitten is the founder and chief editor of Worthy News, a leading Christian news agency and flagship publication of Worthy Ministries. Since its launch in 1999, Worthy News has consistently ranked among the top ten Christian news websites worldwide, delivering timely, faith-informed coverage of global events.

George’s career began with the Christian Coalition in Washington, D.C., where he gained firsthand insight into the inner workings of U.S. politics and policy-making. This foundation in American political life, combined with more than two decades of residence in Israel, gives him a rare dual perspective on both Washington and Jerusalem. From his base in the Holy Land — where he lives with his wife and two children — George has reported extensively on Middle Eastern affairs, U.S.–Israel relations, and international geopolitics.

An avid traveler, George has visited more than 20 countries, immersing himself in diverse cultures and studying government systems firsthand. His global network of hundreds of contacts, developed through over 20 years of speaking engagements averaging three to four times per week, provides him with unique access to sources and perspectives from around the world.

In addition to overseeing Worthy News, George authors the widely read Worthy Devotional, a daily inspirational message followed by tens of thousands across the globe. These devotionals offer a glimpse into the vision, biblical conviction, and spiritual foundation that drive both Worthy Ministries and its global news outreach.

With a blend of political insight, international experience, and deep Christian faith, George Whitten brings an informed and principled voice to reporting — delivering truth with both accuracy and purpose.
