(Worthy News) – The Taliban’s new interim government of Afghanistan includes Interior Minister Sarajuddin Haqqani, who is on the FBI’s most-wanted list for terror attacks, Sky News reports. The Taliban announced the composition of the new government during a news conference on Tuesday.

The government will be headed by interim Prime Minister Mullah Hasan Akhund and Deputy PM Ghani Baradar, who signed the deal with America that culminated in the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, Sky News said.

Interior Minister Haqqani heads the Taliban-affiliated Haqqani network, which has carried out some of the most deadly attacks in Afghanistan over the last 20 years, Sky News reports. The US justice department refers to Haqqani as a “specially designated international terrorist.”

Haqqani is wanted by the FBI in connection with the January 2008 attack on a hotel in Kabul in which six people, including an American citizen, were murdered.

On Tuesday, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid told the press that the government will represent all Afghanistan and that it will not be “tribal.” However, the government is made up only of Taliban men.
