President Biden Investigated Over ‘Criminal Scheme’; Son Facing Gun Charges

WASHINGTON (Worthy News) – U.S. President Joe Biden faced accusations of involvement in a “criminal scheme” Wednesday while prosecutors were reportedly nearing a decision on whether to charge his son Hunter with tax- and gun-related violations.
In a stunning development, the U.S. House Oversight Committee subpoenaed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Wednesday for an alleged corruption file on Biden.
An identified whistleblower alleged that the document links the current president to a “criminal scheme featuring money for policy decisions” during his vice presidency, according to U.S. Senators.
Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray were asked in a letter to investigate the alleged scheme.
“We have received legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures,” wrote Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, and Senate Budget Committee ranking member Chuck Grassley, a Republican from Iowa.

“We believe the FBI possesses an unclassified internal document that includes very serious and detailed allegations implicating the current President of the United States,” Grassley said. “What we don’t know is what, if anything, the FBI has done to verify these claims or investigate further. The FBI’s recent history of botching politically charged investigations demands close congressional oversight.”
It was the culmination of a four-year investigation that Republicans have sought to portray as evidence the Biden family is corrupt.
The potentially embarrassing document came as federal prosecutors were getting close to deciding on whether to criminally charge the president’s son Hunter Biden criminally, after a yearslong investigation, a new report said.
The Washington Post newspaper reported that prosecutors were weighing whether to charge him with tax crimes and for his allegedly false statement when he bought a gun in 2018.
Hunter’s lawyers reportedly met last week in Washington, D.C., with prosecutors at the Department of Justice about the probe.
