(Worthy News) – U.S. officials expressed concerns on Tuesday that Iran is gearing up to supply Russia with sophisticated short-range ballistic missiles for its military operations in Ukraine, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported.

U.S. officials have stated that Iran is already supplying Russia with armed drones, guided aerial bombs, and artillery shells. The escalating concerns in the U.S. arise from the possibility that Iran may furnish Russia with two recently developed missiles, namely the Ababil and Fateh-110 missiles.

“We are therefore concerned that Iran is considering providing Russia with ballistic missiles for use in Ukraine,” a spokesman for the National Security Council told the WSJ.

Iran has emerged as a progressively significant supplier, reciprocally benefiting from its relationship with Russia.

Moscow has been assisting Tehran in improving its satellite collection capabilities and has expressed willingness to provide support in areas such as missiles, air defense, and military electronics, a National Security spokesman told the WSJ.

Bible prophecy teachers have been closely monitoring the alliance between Russia and Iran, as they perceive the geopolitical dynamics of these two nations align with the prophesied national alliances described in the Gog-Magog War found in Ezekiel 38-39.
