Trump Pledges to Oppose Implementation of Central Bank Digital Currency

(Worthy News) – On Wednesday, ex-President Donald Trump pledged that if he were to reassume the presidency, he would prevent the Federal Reserve from creating a digital currency.
“Tonight, I’m also making another promise to protect Americans from government tyranny. As your president, I will never allow the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency,” Trump said in a campaign speech at a rally in New Hampshire.

“Such a currency would give a federal government — our federal government — absolute control over your money. They could take your money and you wouldn’t even know it’s gone,” Trump continued.
A digital currency proposal from the US Federal Reserve would encounter considerable challenges and has already met with substantial resistance from conservatives. They argue it could enable the federal government to monitor purchases and potentially use this ability to prohibit certain products. However, supporters of the concept assert that it would expedite digital transactions and enhance the detection of fraud and money laundering.
Teachers of prophecy have observed that although Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) are not the “mark of the beast” referenced in the book of Revelation, they could lay the groundwork for a fully cashless society, where all financial transactions could become contingent on accepting the mark of the beast.
