Congressional Report Details Biden Administration Admitted More Than 5 Million Illegal Immigrants

(Worthy News) – The Biden administration has allowed more than 5 million immigrants to enter the United States, and an additional nearly 2 million immigrants have been detected attempting unauthorized entry into the country, according to a recently released Congressional report.
According to an interim staff report by the House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement, since January 2021, President Joe Biden has permitted 5.3 million immigrants, including those who illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border and those who applied from abroad through “parole” programs, to stay in the country.
“Far from imposing consequences on illegal aliens and removing them from the country, the Biden Administration encourages illegal aliens to arrive at the border, chauffeurs them into the interior, and then rewards them with concierge services, all on the taxpayers’ dime and at the expense of public safety,” states the report titled “Chauffeur at the border, concierge in the interior: How the Biden administration rewards illegal aliens on the taxpayers’ dime.”
According to the report, since the inception of the Biden Administration, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been expanding its Alternatives to Detention (ATD) programs, ostensibly to monitor non-detained illegal aliens in the United States.
The report details that while ICE claims ATD programs are designed “to ensure compliance with release conditions and provide important case management services,” including the use of technologies like GPS devices, they often fail to monitor individuals effectively.
The report criticized the Biden Administration for transforming Alternatives to Detention (ATD) into a gateway for illegal aliens to access social services at taxpayer expense in the United States. Additionally, it highlights that the administration’s emphasis on ATD and social programs for illegal aliens not only exacerbates the border crisis but also effectively rewards those who illegally cross the southwest border.
With the upcoming elections and illegal immigration being a hot-button issue, data released last week by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) indicated that following President Biden’s executive order on June 4 to halt asylum claims at the southern border, arrests of illegal immigrants have decreased by 40%.
