Chinese government continues program of genocide against Uyghur Muslims

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) continues a genocidal program against the Uyghur Muslim minority community in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR), the Genocide Watch human rights organization reported earlier this month. Xinjiang is home to 12 million people, most of whom are Uyghur Muslims.

The blockade comes amid an ongoing conflict over the region involving Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the self-declared Armenian breakaway state of Artsakh.
