JERUSALEM (Worthy News) – The Temple Institute in Jerusalem issued an extensive clarification on Monday following widespread misinformation concerning recent reports about a red heifer and the production of ritual ashes—an act central to biblical purity laws and, for many religious observers, deeply symbolic in the context of prophetic events.

In a formal press statement, the Institute stressed that a recent activity conducted in the Samarian mountains was only a simulation, part of a decade-long series of educational and practical preparations—not an actual, halachically valid production of red heifer ashes.

Temple Institute: The Exercise Was Not Kosher and Not Intended to Be

According to the statement, the institution has spent roughly ten years preparing for the complex requirements of the biblical commandment, which mandates that the red heifer be sacrificed and burned on the Mount of Olives while facing the site of the Holy Temple—conditions that were not present in the recent simulation.

The Institute emphasized several key points:

• The event was a practice exercise only, using a heifer that was deliberately invalid due to defects, including a damaged tail.
• Priest garments used were not consecrated, further ensuring the act was non-kosher.
• The ashes created during the exercise were left in place and are entirely invalid for ritual purification.
• Only samples were collected—to test equipment—and by individuals who were ritually impure to ensure the act had no halachic effect.

“Anyone who claims otherwise… is mistaken and misleading,” the Institute warned, countering claims circulating online that the exercise had produced kosher ashes usable for purification.

The group also confirmed that four red heifers remain under observation at the Shiloh site, though none have yet received final halachic approval.

Sanhedrin Affirms Institute’s Statement, Issues Warning to the Nations

In parallel, the modern Sanhedrin convened on the 19th of Cheshvan (November 10, 2025) and issued a formal ruling endorsing the Temple Institute’s clarification “completely.”

The Sanhedrin also issued an unusual public address to Gentiles worldwide, emphasizing the Seven Noahide Laws and warning against spiritual deception:

“Anyone who invents that the ashes from a red heifer exercise purify Gentiles… such a person is among the fraudsters and swindlers.”

The ruling stressed that only those who accept the Seven Noahide Commandments are called “Righteous Among the Nations,” and that no ritual involving invalid ashes conveys any healing or spiritual standing.

Christian Watchers See Prophetic Significance Amid Rising Temple Activity

The clarification arrives amid heightened interest in the red heifer among Christians worldwide, many of whom view Temple-related developments through the lens of biblical prophecy.

For many, Jesus’ warnings in Matthew 24—concerning the “abomination of desolation” spoken of by the prophet Daniel—echo historic precedent. During the rule of Antiochus Epiphanes in the 2nd century BC, an idol of Zeus was erected in the Jerusalem Temple, and sacrifices were forcibly redirected—an act that served as a prototype for future desecrations.

Likewise, 2 Thessalonians 2 warns that the “man of sin” will one day sit in the temple of God, “showing himself that he is God.”

As preparations surrounding the Temple Mount accelerate—however preliminary or procedural—many Christian prophecy teachers believe these actions may foreshadow conditions in which such events could unfold.

In their view, the convergence of renewed Temple readiness, public Sanhedrin rulings, and global religious controversy signals that the world may be approaching what Scripture describes as the “great deception” of the last days.

A Long Road Ahead

The Temple Institute reiterated that the genuine production of holy ashes remains a long, meticulous process requiring a fully kosher heifer, proper conditions on the Mount of Olives, and comprehensive halachic readiness.

“When we are ready… the real red heifer will be made, G-d willing,” the statement declared, calling for patience and perseverance.

For now, both Jewish authorities and Christian observers agree on one point: The world is watching, and developments surrounding the Temple Mount carry profound religious, cultural, and prophetic implications—with more chapters yet to unfold.
