(Worthy News) – Elon Musk told a G20 innovation summit that humanoid robots could become one of the most disruptive forces in the global economy, predicting that at least 1 billion such machines may be operating within the next 10 years.

Speaking virtually to officials and technology leaders, Musk said advances in artificial intelligence and robotics could produce machines capable of working at several times the output of a human being. If that forecast proves correct, he said humanoid robots could collectively outproduce all of humanity.

Musk’s remarks came as governments and major technology companies wrestle with how quickly to develop, regulate, and integrate artificial intelligence into national economies. He warned that nations resisting AI development could fall behind, comparing the technology’s importance to electricity in the modern age.

The Tesla and SpaceX chief also pointed to a looming energy challenge, arguing that AI growth is rapidly increasing demand for chips, data centers, and electricity. Without a major expansion of power generation, Musk said, energy shortages could limit the next wave of technological growth.

The prediction is bold, even by Musk’s standards. Humanoid robotics remains in its early commercial stage, and many companies are still struggling to move machines from demonstrations into reliable factory, warehouse, and home use. But Musk’s comments underscore how quickly the AI revolution is moving from screens and software into the physical world.

For believers watching the pace of technological change, the moment is another reminder that wisdom, discernment, and moral restraint must not lag behind invention. The question is no longer whether man can build powerful machines, but whether he still has the spiritual maturity to govern what he builds.
