WASHINGTON, D.C. (Worthy News)– Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s new military blimps. The U.S. military base at Aberdeen Proving Ground will be launching two blimps that will become permanent fixtures in the sky over Maryland. On a clear day, someone can see it from 50 miles away. The U.S. military says the blimps will be looking for anti-ship cruise missiles, unmanned aircraft, and swarming boats.
