Chinese Gov’t Continues Anti-Christian Campaign

By Joseph DeCaro, Worthy News Correspondent

BEIJING, CHINA (Worthy News)– Only one week after Chinese Christians in Wenzhou City fought back against Communist attempts to remove the cross from the roof of their church, government authorities returned and destroyed the cross, according to International Christian Concern.

At 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, government workers cut the cross off from the roof of GuanTou Church.

“How can you separate the cross from a church?” asked a local pastor. “Can you choose between a national flag and embassy building?”

Sooyoung Kim, ICC’s Regional Manager for Southeast Asia, said: “It is crystal clear that local and provincial authorities in Zhejiang Province have carefully planned and carried out their consistent and methodical attack against Christianity and churches.”
