No Visas for Christians Facing Muslim Persecution

By Joseph DeCaro, Worthy News Correspondent

(Worthy News) – Despite persecution from Islamic terrorists, Christians in Iraq will not receive any support from the United States government, according to Creeping Sharia.

Though they have been threatened by Muslims in refugee camps run by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Christians will not be supported because of their religious affiliation, according to the U.S. State Department, which has flatly refused to resettle Christian refugees in the United States.

While admitting more than 4,000 Somalis to the United States during the first half of 2015, the State Department “would not support a special category to bring Assyrian Christians into the United States,” according to Faith McDonnell of the Philos Project.

McDonnell said the U.S. government has asserted that religious affiliation does not ensure asylum for persecuted Christians.

“The State Department, the wider administration, some in Congress and much of the media and other liberal elites insist that Christians cannot be given preferential treatment….”

No “preferential treatment,” despite the fact that Christianity is currently experiencing some of the worst persecution in its history, according to Archbishop Bashar Warda.

“Christianity in Iraq is going through one of its worst and hardest stages of its long history,” said Warda. “Throughout all these long centuries, we have experienced many hardships and persecutions, offering caravans of martyrs. Yet 2014 brought the worst acts of genocide against us in our history.”
