GOP severs ties with NBC News for upcoming debate

(Worthy News) – The Republican National Committee has formally severed ties with NBC News for the upcoming presidential debate.
The party announced in a statement Monday evening that it was instead awarding the debate to CNN.
The GOP took action to suspend its relationship with NBC in October following a CNBC presidential debate panned for the moderators’ performance. [ Source ]
