(Worthy News) – Jerusalem could not have anticipated such a strong and positive beginning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s historic whirlwind African tour.
The first hectic day of Netanyahu’s African adventure began with a high point: an official ceremony to commemorate the iconic Entebbe operation.
There were no tears in Entebbe Monday, but a deep sense of victory- two nations that have succeeded in turning a tragic focal point into a deep friendship. It was perhaps best put by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni who said that “the sad event 40 years ago became a strong bond”. [ Source ]
