Swedish church to send Bible-dropping drones over ISIS caliphate

(Worthy News) – A Swedish church intends to use drones to drop thousands of digital Bibles into ISIS-controlled territory in Iraq, where Christians are among the terrorist organization’s main targets.

The World of Life Church, located in the Swedish city of Uppsala, will distribute the Bibles to pass on “the hope and love of the Christian gospel to a population living in closed areas where they are being denied human rights,” The Christian Post reported.

Terrorists have taken over large portions of land in Iraq, forcing many of the country’s Christians to flee, pay a tax or face a brutal death. Yet, the Islamist brutality could be sending more people to Christ, say advocacy groups.

Organizations and congregations working with the church have “unanimously” affirmed a “huge spiritual awakening in the Middle East,” where there is an enormous demand for Bibles as millions of citizens turn to Christianity, according to Premiere. [ Source ]
