U.S. government to shield health workers under 'religious freedom'

(Worthy News) - The U.S. government is seeking to further protect the “conscience and religious freedom” of health workers whose beliefs prevent them from carrying out abortions and other procedures, in an effort likely to please conservative Christian activists and other supporters of President Donald Trump.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said on Thursday it will create a division within its Office of Civil Rights to give it “the focus it needs to more vigorously and effectively enforce existing laws protecting the rights of conscience and religious freedom.”

Healthcare workers, hospitals with religious affiliations, and medical students among others have been “bullied” by the federal government to provide these services despite existing laws on religious and conscience rights, the top HHS official said. [ Source: Reuters (Read More...) ]

  1. Or, they could have lived for Christ.

Or, the Jewish ones could have lived for YHWH.

Honestly. It's better to live on welfare (and be hated by GOP and Tea Partiers, alike) than to have succumbed to being an accomplice with the murders of whole generations of US (native born) citizens.

The Trump Adm is right to stand firm and get solidly behind the rights of people to not participate in abortion, to refuse to be on the same (surgical) teams doing so.

But what about when the Dems get back into the White House?

The pendulum swings, first, one direction, then by the same amount, to the other direction.

A nation, any nation, the USA, is only as good as the people who populate it.

    And that is the problem.

Generations change. Those who went off to serve in WWII have been bullied into nursing homes, or left in isolation for too long. They've been medicated into silence, which means whole new generations have grown up with the latest Psycho-babel instead of what wisdom other nations have retained.
