(Worthy News) - Russia has rejected an Iranian request to buy S-400 missile defense systems, concerned that the sale would stoke more tension in the Middle East, according to two people with knowledge of the matter, including a senior Russian official.

The request was rebuffed by President Vladimir Putin, the people said on condition of anonymity because they’re not authorized to discuss the matter. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif visited Moscow May 7.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry didn’t reply to a request for comment, and Iranian officials couldn’t be reached for a response. Iran’s weekend starts Thursday. [ Source: Bloomberg (Read More...) ]

  1. The secret to Russian success is their lack of fear to be poor. Russians know how to survive, and even thrive, being poor and it scares them (as a nation) not one bit. They are creative survivors. They value traditional families and the US lack of the same may just decide it's fate. For the first "institution" on Earth which God created was the family headed by a male married to one female. Then, they had children who went and did the same.

Putin and his Russians are not afraid to put down any and all of the LGBTQ crowd. Putin is not afraid of UK's leaders leading the way for all nations (they hope) to embrace and "tolerate" gay marriage.

And what Christian or Messianic could fault them for hardly even bothering to laugh that anyone would even try to make them cave to international pressures to conform to gay rights and/or gay marriage?

Meanwhile, every national leader runs to please Queen Elizabeth II and her England's latest fads on gay rights, gay marriage, gay pastors and bishops. She barely finishes her annual Christmas message and New Zealand rushes a bill to make gay marriage law. Diana defended HIV infected people (however they became infected, which for some people, it was from blood transfusions) human rights. And she was right to do so. All sinners have human rights. If that were not true, none of us would have rights as humans do. That is not one and the same thing as sanctifying sinful behavior.

Russia (and Putin) have kept values all of North America has lost.
