Israel reportedly attacks Syria-Iraq border, thwarts shipment of Iranian ballistic missiles


(Worthy News) – Israeli aircraft attacked a truck convoy near the Syria-Iraq border in an effort to thwart the delivery of weapon systems to pro-Iranian militias, Arab media reported overnight Thursday. Israel has not commented on the incident.

Eight members of Shiite militia apparently killed in the strike.

According to the reports, the attack took place near the Abu Kamal border crossing, which has reportedly been attacked multiple times by Israel as it is often used to ship arms from Iran to its proxies in Syria. [ Source (Read More…) ]
