(Worthy News) – President Donald Trump is slated to become the first president to attend the March for Life in the nation’s capital on Friday.
Since the march began after the landmark Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion in 1973, the demonstration has since become a staple in pro-life activism bringing thousands from across the country to the heart of the nation’s capital to advocate for the sanctity of life. This year will be the annual march’s 47th year.
Last year, Vice President Mike Pence made a surprise visit at the event, while Trump addressed the crowd by video. Trump also delivered a video address in 2018, and Pence became the first sitting vice president to attend the event in 2017. [ Source: The Federalist (Read More…) ]
