Iran vows support for Palestinian resistance to peace plan

(Worthy News) – The new leader of the Iranian Quds Force who is stepping into the shoes of slain terrorist mastermind Qassem Soleimani has met with Palestinian leaders to assure them that Iran will do everything in its power to oppose the recently released “Deal of the Century” peace plan.

After US President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled the “Peace to Prosperity” iteration of the two-state solution last week, Esmail Ghaani spoke with Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Ziad Nakhaleh and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in separate phone calls.

The Palestinian terrorist leaders said the Iranian Quds Force chief’s support “boosts morale and determination to liberate Palestine,” according to a statement from Hamas.

In November Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khameini met with a Hamas delegation in Tehran to welcome the Palestinians into the fold of Iran’s anti-Israel “axis of resistance,” a network of proxy militias and Iranian strongholds stretching from Yemen to Iraq to Syria to Lebanon.
