Turnout highest since 1999 as voters defy predictions of apathy, virus fears

(Worthy News) – Smashing worries about voter fatigue and virus fears, authorities said Monday that Israelis were streaming to the polls in higher numbers than have been seen in years.
The Central Elections Committee said that 65.5 percent of registered voters cast their ballots by 8 p.m. — the highest figure for the hour since 1999. [ Source: Times of Israel (Read More…) ]
