87-Year-Old Ruth Bader Ginsburg: ‘I Began a Course of Chemotherapy…to Treat a Recurrence of Cancer’

(Worthy News) – Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who is 87 years old, released a statement today saying that for the past two months she has been undergoing chemotherapy to treat a recurrence of liver cancer.
“On May 19, I began a course of chemotherapy (gemcitabine) to treat a recurrence of cancer,” Ginsburg said.
“A periodic scan in February followed by a biopsy revealed lesions on my liver,” she said. [ Source: CNS News (Read More…) ]
