Hurricane Genevieve strengthens to ‘beast’ Category 4 storm off Mexico, will brush Baja California
(Worthy News) – The third hurricane this season in the Eastern Pacific rapidly strengthened off Mexico’s western coast on Tuesday, becoming the season’s second major storm as it is forecast to swipe Baja California.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami said that Hurricane Genevieve now has maximum sustained winds of 130 mph, and is located about 325 miles south-southeast of the southern tip of Baja California.
