New video shows sworn testimony of Planned Parenthood officials admitting to harvesting fetal tissue and organs

(Worthy News) – A newly unsealed video confirms Planned Parenthood staff altered abortions methods in order to remove fetuses whose organs were preserved intact and could be sold for profit, the Federalist reports. Released by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) Monday, the video shows testimonies given under oath by Planned Parenthood officials describing the harvest of fetal organs and tissue. Federal law prohibits partial-birth abortions and the removal of live babies with intent to kill them during delivery for harvesting organs.

The new video of sworn testimony confirms the content of a series of undercover videos previously released by the CMP together with activist David Daleiden in 2015. The 2015 undercover videos showed Planned Parenthood staff discussing the harvest of organs for profit. However, Kamala Harris, current vice presidential candidate, and California attorney general in 2015, prosecuted Daleiden for exposing Planned Parenthood’s organ harvest scheme. It was alleged that Daleiden’s videos were in breach of California law banning the recording of “confidential” conversations. Urging the prosecution, Planned Parenthood insisted at the time that the videos had been “edited” and that their late-term abortion practices were conducted in accordance with the law.

The latest video shows Planned Parenthood officials giving evidence about using paperwork loopholes in order to act as though they were complying with federal partial-birth abortion law. They also testify to modifying abortion methods in order to obtain intact organs, the Federalist reports.

Tram Nguyen, a vice president for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston, Texas said operatives could get around partial-birth abortion law by signing a statement saying it was not their “intent” to remove an intact fetus. When asked under oath if she understood an abortion provider could remove an intact fetus if the form had been signed, Nguyen answers “yes.” When asked if it is true that intact fetuses are removed despite the forms being signed, Nguyen says: “It is true.”

The video also shows the sworn testimony of Dr. Deborah Nucatola being asked whether she would modify abortion procedure to preserve certain organs intact. Confirming that she would crush a fetus with forceps in such a way as to preserve the organs, Nucatola said: “If I was aware that it was a donation case, yes.”
