Trump: Section 230 is a ‘serious threat to our national security & election integrity’

(Worthy News) – President Trump is amplifying pressure to revise a section of the Communications Decency Act that has shielded tech companies from liabilities they would incur if they were considered publishers.
Trump said Section 230 of the CDA is a “gift” to Big Tech before claiming the country “can never be safe” if it is not expunged from the National Defense Authorization Act.
“Section 230, which is a liability shielding gift from the U.S. to ‘Big Tech’ (the only companies in America that have it – corporate welfare!), is a serious threat to our National Security & Election Integrity,” he wrote. “Our Country can never be safe & secure if we allow it to stand…” [ Source: Washington Examiner (Read More…) ]
