Netanyahu hosts Bennett for second round of intensive government talks
(Worthy News) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday hosted Yamina party chief Naftali Bennett in Jerusalem for the second day in a row, after the former interim Defense Minister said his faction would throw its support in forming a right-wing government with Likud.
Yamina, which won seven seats in Israel’s March 23 election, is negotiating with Netanyahu’s Likud party towards the creation of a coalition government, stressing that its main goal is to avoid a fifth election.
After the three-hour meeting, Channel 12 citing sources with direct knowledge of the talks said there had been “positive developments between the two sides.” [ Source: i24 (Read More…) ]
