Pfizer CEO says third COVID booster shot ‘likely’ needed within a year of getting vaccinated, perhaps a yearly shot
(Worthy News) – Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla predicted Thursday that people who have received the company’s COVID vaccine will “likely” need a third booster shot within a year to maintain protection against the virus.
The pharmaceutical chief said it’s also possible that people will need to get inoculated every year against coronavirus.
Public health officials also say it’s very possible that booster shots will be needed to protect people against more contagious variants of COVID-19 that have already surfaced around the world and other strains that will almost certainly appear in the future. [ Source: NY Daily News (Read More…) ]
