Report: Civilian killed, six injured in Israeli airstrike on Syria


syria worthy christian news(Worthy News) – An Israeli airstrike set off Syrian air defenses early Wednesday, killing one and injuring six, according to Syrian state-run SANA news.

The Israeli attack came from southwestern Latakia and targeted some coastal areas at around 2:18 am, with Syria’s missile defense downing some of the Israeli missiles, a military source said.

Tensions have risen recently between Israel and Syria, with Israel hitting anti-aircraft batteries on April 22 in response to a rocket that mistakenly shot toward Israel. [ Source: i24 (Read More…) ]
