(Worthy News) – Israel’s Iron Dome aerial defense system shot down a rocket from Lebanon after two were fired at Israel Tuesday morning, the Israeli military said.
IDF artillery attacked Lebanese territory in response to the rocket launches, another tweet said shortly after.
The attack is likely a retaliation to a reported Israeli strike in Syria late Monday night, conducted against Iranian-backed militias. Israel has said stated it will not tolerate Shiite militias funded by Iran in Syria, although it did not claim responsibility for the airstrike. [ Source: i24 (Read More…) ]
