Lebanon: Fuel price skyrockets 66% after subsidy cut

(Worthy News) – Lebanon’s government has decided to increase the price of fuel by a whopping 66%, as it attempts to partially reduce fuel subsidies.
The price of fuel has almost tripled over the space of three months. The increases have come into immediate effect.
The local currency, the Lebanese pound, has lost more than 90% of its value against the US dollar. [ Source: Deutche Welle (Read More…) ]
