(Worthy News) – Fulani jihadist herdsmen murdered 10 more Christians in Nigeria’s Plateau state at one o’clock in the morning on Friday, during an attack on Ta’agbe village, International Christian Concern (ICC) reports. In its annual report this year, the US Commission on Religious Freedom (USCRF) warned that Nigeria is becoming a “killing field for Christians” at the hands of jihadist militants.

ICC reports that in the November 26 attack, the jihadists invaded Ta’agbe in the Miango district wearing black, carrying weapons, and shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ (Allah is the greatest). As the terrorists set fire to more than a hundred houses were burned down, some 690 people were displaced from their homes in their efforts to flee the murderers, ICC said.

Confirming the atrocity, Nuhu Ngah, the National Spokesman of the Miango Youth Development Association, said in a press statement that the attack continued for over two hours, ICC said. The victims have been identified as Gara Ku (80), Wiye Gara (67), Tala Gara (68), Rikwe BalaYoh (65), Tabitha Danlami (8), Sibi Danlami (4), Friday Musa (35), Daniel Mandi (45), Mweri Chogo (86), Ayo Balai (6).

“I lost my grandchildren for the sake of Christ,” survivor Sibi Gara told ICC from a hospital bed in Miango District. Another survivor lost six family members.

In a statement to ICC, Dr. Ibrahim Amur, the only doctor at the only hospital in the Miango district, said: “I’ve stayed in Miango District for more than five months, but treated 40-50 victims of gunshot attacks by Fulani militants in the county, mostly Irigwe Christians. It is always difficult for the victims to pay hospital bills.” Therefore, Dr. Amur added, he has been desperately asking for more medicines and volunteers to be supplied to his hospital.
