Mahmoud Abbas, Egypt’s Sisi meet, talk Israeli-Palestinian peace process

(Worthy News) – Egyptian president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met on Tuesday with Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas, Israeli media reported.
In the meeting, al-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s support of the “Palestinian issue” and the need to settle it fairly and comprehensively. The Egyptian president also emphasized his country’s support in a Palestinian diplomatic effort to return to the peace negotiations table with Israel.
Abbas is on a two-day visit to Egypt, where he took part in the World Youth Forum in Sharm el-Sheikh, an annual conference organized by an international NGO of the same name. [ Source: Jerusalem Post (Read More…) ]
