(Worthy News) – Fulani Muslim militants murdered 21 Christian farmers in Nigeria’s Kaduna state last month, as Kaduna’s Fulani Governor Nasir El-Rufai remains silent about the ongoing slaughter of believers in his state, International Christian Concern (ICC) reports.

Nigeria’s national and state leaders have done nothing to stop Fulani terrorists from killing over 40,000 Christians in the country’s Middle Belt, particularly in Kaduna and Plateau states, over the last 15 years.

With Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari also a Fulani, rights groups and local believers have begun to ask whether the country’s authorities are actively encouraging the slaughter of Christians in Kaduna and other states, as opposed to being simply indifferent to it.

In a recent statement, for example, the Alaigbo Development Foundation: “Security forces have taken sides with the Fulani militants to wipe out the Christian communities in Southern Kaduna, with the sole aim of taking over their ancestral lands.”

In what has become a familiar and frequent form of tragedy in Kaduna, the 21 Christian farmers were murdered on April 26 when Fulani militants attacked four villages in the Kauru district, burning homes and a church as well.

“The militant first attacked Agwan Rimi village,” Ezekiel Bini, a tribal leader, told ICC.

“There they killed twelve. Three are still missing and two survived with bullet wounds. From there, the militants entered Angwa Makera village. Houses were burnt, but nobody was killed. That village suffered much damage and one received bullet wounds.

“From there, the militants went to Kitakun village and burnt houses and destroyed the church,” Bini continued. “One person was killed in Kintakun. Agwan Magaji village was the last to be attacked that night. There the militants killed six. Three people survived bullet gunshots.”

Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna State has “a long history of fueling religious tension,” ICC said in its report. The Governor even falsely accused Christians of being behind the well-known ISIS-affiliated Boko Haram Islamic terror goup in order “to tarnish the name of Islam,” ICC said.
